We want to help families have great times together!

Time For Family in a non-profit organization which was created to encourage and provide activities and education to help bring families together more often, and with more satisfying results.
Today's families are so busy with activities that take everyone in different directions that they have very little time together, yet often, the little time they have is spent with the television, computer or video games. Time For Family is here to give families ideas for activities and games that will help them to bond and strengthen their relationships.
But we don't want to just tell you about activities, we want to create them for you too!
Time For Family will be organizing a Family Fair this fall in Stevenson Washington. The Family Fair will provide lots of great family fun, as well as classes and workshops to help families develop stronger bonds and reduce the stress in their lives. We plan to make this the first of many Family Fairs to bring fun, excitement and a bit of learning to your family.
Check often for more information about the Family Fair, as well as other family articles, activities, games and products that will soon be a part of this web-site.
Time For Family Founder, Carolyn Miller

Carolyn is the mother of seven children (six boys and one lone girl) and the grandmother of eleven (nine girls and two lone boys), with one more on the way. She knows what it is like to be a busy parent. Since many of the years she was raising her family were spent as a single mom, she has a pretty good idea of the stresses that pull at families. As a young mother, she was determined that nothing was more important than family, yet so often she found herself doing the tasks that had to be done at the expense of the time she wanted to spend with her children. Like most parents, she made plenty of mistakes, but she got her share of things right too.
Carolyn spent twenty years as a trainer and speaker for businesses, corporations and government agencies. She taught such things as computer applications, time management, work ethic, and life skills. She also worked with social service agencies teaching life skills and parent classes. She created a non-profit organization to put "difficult to employ" people to work, giving them experience as well as teaching them basic work ethic skills.
Carolyn had a great desire to do something fun, that would benefit today's parents. She created Time For Family to promote quantity as well as quality time for families. She wanted to create a time where families could get together and have a great time while increasing their family skills. She wanted them to play games and laugh together, attend workshops together and set family goals that would move them forward in positive directions. The Family Fair and this website will bring together Carolyn's skills along with other great professionals to make great things happen with families.
